As part of the Kids Count Program, we visited Mrs. Turners 2nd grade class at North Todd Elementary School to talk to them about saving money.
Each student received a piggy bank, a poem card about saving, and a roll of pennies to get them started!
Kids Count is a financial literacy program designed for second graders to learn about the advantages of saving money. Kids Count was created by the KYCPA Community Relations Committee and sponsored by the Kentucky Bankers Association.
If you are interested in having us present the Kids Count Program to your class please email beckybarton@bellsouth.net.
